Oslo, Norway’s capital, is located on the country’s southern coast at the mouth of the Oslofjord. It is well-known for its parks and museums. Many of these are on the Bygdy Peninsula, including the waterside Norwegian Maritime Museum and the Viking Ship Museum, which houses 9th-century Viking ships. The Holmenkollbakken is a ski-jumping hill with panoramic fjord views. There is also a ski museum.
