Norway is a Nordic country with mountains, glaciers, and deep coastal fjords. Oslo, the capital, is a city filled with parks and museums. The Viking Ship Museum in Oslo displays preserved 9th-century Viking ships. Bergen, with its colorful wooden houses, serves as the departure point for cruises to the spectacular Sognefjord. Norway is also known for its fishing, hiking, and skiing, particularly at Lillehammer Olympic Park.
